Under the Estonian Law of Obligations Act, a consumer (private individual) may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For goods ordered from the heasoojus.ee store, the period starts on the day the goods are handed to the consumer, unless the Act provides otherwise.

When exercising the 14-day right of withdrawal, follow the Law of Obligations Act and the heasoojus.ee terms of use. The most important conditions are summarised here for convenience:

When exercising the right of withdrawal, the consumer must observe the obligations set out in § 562 of the Law of Obligations Act. If a returnable item deteriorates, the consumer is liable for the decrease in value caused by use, where they have used the item beyond what is necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics and functioning. To ascertain these, the consumer should handle and use the item only as would normally be permitted in a store.

To withdraw from the contract, the customer must submit a notice to heasoojus.ee. Send the notice by email to info@heasoojus.ee.

On withdrawal, the consumer must return the purchased item without delay, but no later than 14 days after notifying us of the withdrawal.

Please note! When returning products, make sure everything is properly packaged so that there is no risk of damage in transit. Goods that arrived disassembled must also be returned disassembled and packaged in the same way as when they were dispatched.

When using the 14-day right of withdrawal, the consumer bears the direct costs of returning the item to heasoojus.ee. The full amount paid for the goods (including shipping) is refunded to the customer within 14 days of the customer returning the item or providing proof of return. Refunds are made by bank transfer to the account from which the payment was made, unless the seller and customer agree otherwise.

For more details, see the general terms of heasoojus.ee here. If needed, you can also ask our customer service at info@heasoojus.ee.

The period for lodging complaints is 2 years. If a defect appears within 6 months of purchase, it is presumed to have existed at the time of purchase unless the seller proves otherwise. After the 6-month period, the consumer must themselves prove that it is a manufacturing fault and not a defect caused by their own incorrect use.
