Infrared heating panels with glass GD-Plus

The Sundirect GD-Plus series is made of high quality safety ceramic glass, combining sophisticated design with optimal heating performance. The nature of ceramic glass allows more infrared radiation to pass through compared to conventional safety glass. It is available in black and white. This glass infrared heating panel has a silicon wire heating element with a heat resistance of up to 200°C for increased durability. The heating element is highly insulated, making it very safe. The GD-series glass infrared panel heater is insulated with two layers of high temperature glass fibre to ensure minimum heat loss to the backside. The polished steel reflector optimises heating performance by reflecting the infrared rays forward. The GD-Plus series comes with our Easy-Fit installation solution for easy and safe installation. This infrared glass heater has an IP44 protection rating, making it suitable for use in bathrooms. Combined with our TR001 towel rail (available in chrome and black powder coated), this infrared glass heater can be used as a towel rail if desired. With our built-in thermostat receiver, it can be wirelessly controlled using our smart heating control systems. There are three ways to use your panel (sold separately). Choose between a battery-powered controller (Smart2.0), a mains/USB-powered controller (Smart2.0Pro) or a plug-in thermostat (SmartPlug).
